Donald is Chief Executive Officer at Self Directed Support Scotland (SDSS), and Chair of the Community Brokerage Network Board. He plays a crucial role in leading the delivery and strategic vision of both organisations, guiding the network’s mission and activities.
With nearly 30 years of experience in social care, particularly in learning disability, Donald previously led Autism Network Scotland, implementing the Scottish Strategy for Autism with the Scottish Government. He then founded a successful Autism consultancy.
Donald has been involved in Self-directed Support (SDS) from its inception, exploring organisational responses in Glasgow, and continues to work with individuals directing their own support through his consultancy.
