Pauline McFadden


Pauline graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with an Honours Degree in Communication and Mass Media. She has continued to study since graduating, and has studied politics, photography, mental health, counselling skills and emotional disorders amongst others.

Pauline is also currently employed as a Family Wellbeing Worker with Stepping Stones for Families. She supports parents with a range of issues, helps with filling forms, navigating the care system and working on positive mental health and wellbeing.

Pauline has a daughter who has a Self Directed Support budget so appreciates the work that is involved in bringing a plan together. 

She spent 9 years working as a mental health support worker with SAMH and has developed her skills, knowledge and understanding in mental health. Pauline recently became a facilitator in the ACE’s recovery toolkit for both children and adults. She has an interest in Adverse Childhood Experiences and is continuously building her knowledge and understanding in the area.

Pauline is also a Board member with Parent Network Scotland. Her passion lies with supporting families and children’s rights
