Lynn qualified as a nurse and has a post graduate certificate in critical care. She has extensive experience in Health and Social Care as both a practitioner and senior manager, in local authority, health and the private sector.
Lynn’s previous roles have included Directorate Nurse Manager for Fife Health Board, Group Manager for Occupational Therapy and Assistive Technology with West Lothian Council and Scottish Telecare Strategy Manager for a major telehealthcare supplier.
In line with her commitment to the future need for the application of person-centred technology solutions to support vulnerable people across housing, care and health sectors, Lynn has developed an independent consultancy firm (Lynn Blair Consultancy) and is an associate with the Wellness and Health Innovation Project.
Much of Lynn’s recent work reflects her experience as a carer and builds on the areas where she needed assistance in supporting her mum. Lynn’s mum had dementia and Lynn was her carer for four years prior to her moving into nursing home care where sadly she died earlier this year.
